Writing Articles For Money

Friday, February 20th, 2009

articlemarketing924People have been writing articles to make money for years. In fact article writing was the first form of marketing I did when I started working online some 4+ years ago. I didn’t know how to market, or even where to market. I stumbled upon article marketing via a form.

So how can you start writing articles for money?

Simple, all you have to do is find what your target market is, then do a little bit of keyword research. Now by keyword research I mean you need to research which keywords people are searching or would search to find whatever it is you do, or sell. This way when you write your articles you can key in on these keywords, and increase your Google page rank for your article.

Once you’ve completed your keyword research now begins the fun part of actually writing the article. It’s important to know that you don’t have to be some writing expert, and you don’t even need to know how to spell (thanks to spell checker). All you have to know is that the best articles are 500 – 700 words long. Keep your articles short and simple. If you go into to much detail you’ll lose peoples interest.

After you written your article now its time to submit that article to the top article directories, and I’ll save you time by telling you the top 3 article directories are in order 1) ezinearticles.com 2) buzzle.com 3) articlebase.com. Create an account at each directory and submit your articles to them.

Now each of these article directories will allow you to create an about the author resource box. This resource box will be displayed at the end of each of your articles, and this is where you will make your money. Inside it you will leave a short one or two lines explaining to people who you are, what you do, and how you can help them. Make sure you leave a link back to your website or else your article will go to waste.

Finally if you really want to get your articles ranked in Google I highly recommend submitting them to social book marketing sites. Here are a few I recommend.

1. Digg.com
2. Propeller.com
3. Reddit.com
4. Socialogs.com
5. Indianpad.com
6. Slashdot.org
7. Getigadget.com
8. Furl.net
9. Wirefan.com
10. Bibsonomy.org
11. faves.com
12. Folkd.com
13. Linkagogo.com
14. Mister-wong.com
15. Connotea.org
16. Mixx.com
17. Upchuckr.com
18. Jumptags.com
19. Connectedy.com
20. Postonfire.com
21. humsurfer.com

All you do is create an account for each of the sites you wish to use. Then you’ll see a button that says something along the lines like submit story or add link. Click on it and fill out the required info and hit submit and your done.

Articles are a great way to make extra money online. This type of marketing method alone can easily generate you 1 – 2k per month over time. Of course this will depend on what products you are promoting, and how well your articles get ranked in Google.

Quick And Easy Ways To Make Money Online And Offline

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

With the way the economy is and job losses increasing a lot of people are turning to the Internet looking for ways to earn some extra money online or even offline. Today I would like to help you in your online venture by shading some light on a few quick and easy ways anyone can make money online and offline.

#1 eBay – This is probably the easiest way to make a little extra cash online. Almost everyone has some type of junk lying around their home that they no longer use or need. You can put these items up for auction on eBay, and let other people bid on your so called junk. If you find enough stuff to auction off you can make a pretty good amount of money, and you never know what it might lead to. Who knows you might like eBay and turn it into a full-time job!

#2 Craigslist – This is a lot like eBay, only you can post things you wish to sell or get rid of in your local area, and deal with people who live around the block from you. People search Craigslist daily, and you can always find someone who will buy your old sofa or something else you might be willing to get rid of for some extra money. Either way this is a great place to clear out some junk and turn it into easy money.

#3 Yard Sale – You see them all the time (usually on Sundays). A good yard sale can easily produce a few hundred bucks. Clean out your closet and get rid of things that you no longer use, and are just sitting around collecting dust. Post signs around your neighborhood letting people know about your upcoming yard sale, and when the day comes for the big event so will the money!

#4 Auction + Flee Market = Money – I did this myself for a year and each weekend I would pocket over $500. What you do is go to an auction and buy some things you think would sell (TV’s, Children’s books, Toys, Tools, Electronics etc.) Then go to an indoor or outdoor flee market and setup up a stand (usually it cost about $50 - $100 to have a stand for the day). Once you have your stand simply sell the items you got at the auction for a little more then you paid.

#5 Affiliate Marketing – Another easy way to make money online is affiliate marketing. What you do is sell someone else’s product or service, and in return they pay you a small commission. A good place to setup an affiliate account, and find products to promote is Clickbank.

#6 Create Your Own Product – I’ll admit this will take a little bit of time. But if you can create your own product, and sell it for say $20 all you have to do next is advertise your product to a target audience and you’ll be making money!

So there you have it. If you’re struggling to make money or looking for ideas on how you can put a few extra bucks in your pocket these are terrific ways to accomplish that. Making money online and offline is easy. You just have to think outside the box sometimes, and put in a little bit of work.

3 Things That Will Help Jump Start Your Marketing

Saturday, February 7th, 2009

marketing-strategy-win-new-clientsOver the past couple of days I’ve been trying to come up with some new ways to market online that I’ve never tried before. I find myself sticking to the same old marketing techniques time after time, but I feel they are getting old, and out dated. I also find myself getting bored when I’m done my normal marketing.

With that said I want to help give you a few ideas or things I recommend that will help jump start your marketing. I’m finding that most people join a business and then they ask “what do I do next?” Well your about to find out.

1. The first type marking I recommend you start doing is good old fashion article marketing. This is one marketing technique I feel will never get old. Content is the king of the Internet, and fresh content rules over anything else. So if you can keep pumping out fresh content on a daily basis your future will look bright.

Writing articles will not cost you a dime. All you have to do is put in the work to write the articles unless you out source them. If you do out source your article writing you can find people to write your articles at http://www.getafreelancer.com/ I personally got people to write me articles for as little as $6 per 500 word article.

To this day I still get traffic from articles I’ve written about 4 years ago, and all my hard works has paid off then, and its still paying off now as my articles earn me an easy 1 - 2k per month from promoting Clickbank products.

2. Ok articles are good, but what if you want to get traffic fast, and see results within 5 - 10 days? Well then I recommend buying Solo Ads. Buying Solo Ads is a great way to get lots of targeted traffic to your website at an affordable price. You can do a simple Google search for “solo ads” and a number of sites will popup offering cheap and affordable solo ads.

A Solo Ad is a stand alone email that gets sent to the contact email address of people. These are very effective, because only your email is sent out. If you buy solo ads and use a good lead capture page you can expect to get some good results pretty fast.

3. Video marketing. Places like YouTube get millions of visits per day, and it’s a traffic gold mine. Sign up for an account at YouTube.com and start making videos that talk about your business. Make sure your videos make you look like an expert. People who see your videos will be more likely to buy from you or visit your website if you look like you are a pro in your business.

Now one other thing I recommend you do is after you create a video jump over to HeySpread and use  their service to blast out your video to all the other popular video sharing sites. YouTube is good, but you want the most exposure you can get, and HeySpread will help you do that by automatically submitting your videos to other popular sites.

HeySpread charges a very small fee to submit your videos. I’ve submitted a number of videos there, and it basically comes out to be around $1 to get your video submitted to all the top video sharing sites.  If you want your videos to be seen and get as most exposure as you can this is a must use site.

So there you have it. 3 ways that you can quickly and easily jump start your marketing. All 3 ways are proven to work, and will greatly help you stand a good chance at running a successful business online.
