If you didn’t know yet press releases or news releases are a great way to market online. In fact I just so happened to write one the other day for a new company called Success Copilot, and it’s already ranked on the first page of Google for the main keyword.
I’ve written hundreds of press releases over the years, and I’ll be the first to admit not everyone of them will bring in a lot of traffic. However a good portion of them will get traffic to your website. To date my #1 press release of all time has received over 800,000 views, and still brings in traffic to this day. Now imagine the amount of traffic this one signal press release has sent to my website.
You too can start using press releases to help get traffic to your website. It’s not hard, and you don’t even need to have good writing skills (I’m a horrible writer myself). All you have to do is know which press release places Google likes.
Now there are a few ways you can find out which press release places Google likes and ranks well. The easiest and quickest way to find out is to do a Google search for whatever business you’re involved with, and see if there are any press releases within the first 5 pages of Google. If there are simply look at the link of the press release.
Once you know where the press release came from now it’s up to you to submit a press release there as well so you too can get yours ranked.
Secondly you can test. Trying to test different press release websites will take a little bit of money, and a lot of time. However what this will do for you is you can be the first to discover a new press release place that Google likes, and ranks well. The only downfall to this again is the money and time it will take.
So if you don’t have the money or time for testing I recommend you follow the first way we discussed.
Here are a few places that I know of that Google likes and ranks very well. Some of these places are paid press releases, and some of them are free.
