The Best Auto Responder To Use For Your Business

Monday, June 29th, 2009

If you own a website they having a good auto responder should be top priority, as all of your sites should collect leads so you can follow up with people. I’m sure you heard it a thousands times by now. The money is in the list.

Well that saying is absolutely correct. Having a list of subscribers to mail out to is the key for running a long and healthy business. Most experts say that everyone on your email list should be worth about $1 maybe even more.

Now you must be wondering what the best autoreponder out there that is affordable is and user friendly. I’ve used a number of auto responders, and the top one that I’ve been using for more then 4 years now is aweber.

Aweber is a solid company that keeps up to date with what’s new and hot. They are always the first to come out with new things for your auto responder system, and they have the best email delivery rate.

Another good thing about Aweber is they hold webinars showing you how to use their auto responder correctly, they have how to videos, and a blog where they give great information about how you can increase your subscribers.

So before you go out and test a free auto responder or some other company that isn’t know very well save your time and more importantly money and good with Aweber. I guarantee you’ll love it, and their support is top notch.

Being Lazy Can Hurt Your Business

Friday, June 26th, 2009

This happens to the best of us. Sometimes we all just get a little lazy, and I can admit this happens to me from time to time. However being lazy is a business killer if you let it happen often. Before you know it you’ll lose all motivation you have in your business.

I believe this is one of the main reasons why so many people fail. They either get to lazy or simply don’t have the time required to run an online business. One of the most important things you can do for your business is marketing. This has to be done almost daily, because once your traffic stops your business stops.

So if you fall into the too lazy to market area how can you motivate yourself?

  1. Hang up pictures. Having pictures of things you want to have or places you want to go will help motivate. I once placed a picture of the car I wanted as my computers background image. 3 months later I went out and bought the car. You can do this for cars, houses, vacations etc…
  2. Hang signs around your office or room. Every job that I use to work at always had motivational signs hung up in the employee lunch room. At my old job they had one that said “Failure Is Not An Option”. Signs like this can give you that extra bit of push you need.
  3. Get a calendar. Having a calendar that you use for business only will allow you to right down important events, and help you track when your deadlines are. Being able to see your deadlines and goals will help keep you on track.
  4. Right down your marketing plans for a week. Most people usually have a marketing system they follow every week or day. Write down your marketing plan for a week so you can see it and cross them off as you go along.
  5. Reward yourself. Once a month I like to reward myself if I accomplish my goal of the month. You can reward yourself by going out to a nice dinner, taking the weekend off, or if your like me go out to a water park or amusement park for the day :) .

If you find ways to stay motivate yourself you’ll never lose hope, and you’ll always stay on track with your business. I’ve seen to many people give up in their dreams of online success simply because they just cannot stay focused on their main objective.

Tracking Stats With Hits Connect

Saturday, June 13th, 2009

I know I talked about this before, but its one of the most important things you need to do online, and that is tracking your stats. I’ll admit it I never really put much effort into tracking my stats until about a year ago. I’ve tested a lot of programs and out of everything I’ve tired Hits Connect does it all for a very affordable cost.

They not only track your traffic, but they can show you where a sale/lead came from, and that’s the most important thing. Knowing where sales/leads come from will help you cut down on the places then work and don’t.

Below is a screen shot of my Hits Connect account. What I like most is that you can use the Parameter to type in what ad is what so you can target every ad you send out.

For example if you sent a Smart Safelist solo ad out your Parameter could be smartssolo (standing for smart safelist solo).

Then in the Parameter filed like in the image below it would display that name for your total hits and the sales/action conversions. This will help you determine what is working for you, and what is just wasting your time and money.

Hits Connect is very affordable, and well worth the monthly fee. If you want to invest into your business one place I highly recommend spending a little money in is ad tracking.
