How Often Do You Market?

People ask me all the time how often do I market online, and how often should they. The bottom line is you need to market just about everyday of the week. I myself market 5 or 6 days out of the week. I usually like to take 1 or 2 days off where I don’t think about business or marketing.

When I do market I usually take a solid 2 or 3 hours and go down my list of things to do. In this short time frame I do everything from posting ads to checking my monthly marketing budget and even answering emails.

It’s very important to post yours ads daily as it keeps your website in front of people’s eyes. They might not signup the first time they see it, but if they keep seeing your website popup they will sooner or later take action.

Now I understand it can be hard for some people to market daily, but it’s real simple. When you market you make money. When you don’t market the money stops. So do what you can each day even if its just a little.

Making A To Do List

It’s a good chance that you have a lot of things you need to get done each and everyday, and trying to manage your life and run an online business at the same time can get a little tricky. You can easily get side tracked, lose focus, and quickly end up not even doing what you planed to do in the beginning.

Did you ever have days where you felt the day just flew by but it felt like you got nothing accomplished? I’ve been there many of times. This is why I recommend putting together a “to do list”.

Having a list of things to do for the day is a great way to help you stay on track and focused on your goals. At the end of the day you simply check off what you got done. Then take a step back and see how much more work you accomplished.

I feel having to do lists help give us motivation and push us to getting things done that we would normally put off to the side or just completely forget about.

Each day when I wake up I write down my 5 main things I would like to accomplish for the day. Then I simply work my way down the list and at the end of the day all 5 of my main goals are crossed off.

My typical to do lists usually consists of stuff like posting ads, replying to support emails, finishing up websites or begin creating a new website/product. You don’t have to stop there though. You can add anything to your to do list.
