As a marketer we all want to see fast or even instant results from our marketing efforts. The truth though is that most likely will not happen. Just because you might post an ad at a site today doesn’t really mean that ad will bring you traffic, leads, or sales that day.

The same thing goes for when you collect leads. Just because you might get 10 leads in 1 day doesn’t mean 1 of those 10 will buy your product or service once they opt-in.

What you need to understand is you first have to build up a pipeline. Your advertising will have a trickle effect in away. Marketing you might do today might not actually turn into profit until 14 or 21 days from now. This is where most people lose hope and faith in their business.

They bust their butt for 7 straight days getting leads, but the end result is 0 sales. Sometimes they might even market for 14 days and see 0 results. Once they get to this point they give up and stop marketing. Then next month they see a couple of results and wonder where they can from.

This happens because you need to build up your pipeline. In all my years of working online it usually took 10 – 30 days before any marketing I did paid off. This pretty much means you might actually have to market for 30 straight days without seeing any results.

However rest a sure after the 30 days of hard work you’ll finally start to notice some results will trickle in. The key is to continue to market and soon your pipeline will build up to the point where you see a steady stream of results on a daily basis.

Remember though. Even if post ads today doesn’t mean they will get you results today. Your ads might take 10 – 30 days before they start producing any results for your business.
