Well we finally did something we’ve wanted to do for almost a year now, and that is have our very own traffic exchange.

Today we are proud to announce that we’ve launched our brand new traffic exchange called Traffic Zip.

Our goal with Traffic Zip is to bring more targeted traffic to your websites, banner ads, and text ads at a fast pace.

Here are just a few of the benefits joining as a free member.

  • 3:1 surf ratio
  • Advertise up to 5 banner ads
  • Advertise up to 10 text ads
  • Advertise up to 10 websites
  • 5% referral credits (credits earned from your referrals surfing)
  • Earn 10% commissions on any referral purchases

Traffic Zip has tons of ways you can market your business. You can ad your websites, banner ads, text ads, and you can even buy the site of the week. To make Traffic Zip fun and exciting we included a word search game where you can get extra bonus credits for collecting all the letters of a word.

Again it’s free to join, but we’ve created some very special offers if you upgrade. Not only will you save money, but you’ll get a better deal, dynamic surf ratios, and access to e-books, access video training and more.

Generate Traffic from Press Releases

Friday, January 15th, 2010

If you’re looking for another avenue to generate targeted traffic back to your website while at the same time building up back links then you might want to try writing press releases.

Writing press releases are great for a couple of reasons.

  1. They can rank high in the search engines giving you great exposure.
  2. Each press release you write will give you a valuable back link helping boost your websites page rank.
  3. If you pay for the press release it usually gets submitted to more news outlets.

Now most people think you have to write professional information or that you can only write a press release when you have something that is new or important. Sure that’s what most companies do, but I personally write press releases like I do articles.

I give information about a topic or product and then simply leave a link back to my website. Some of my press releases have received over 600k hits and still bring me in traffic even though they may be years old.

A few things I’d like to point out. One you don’t need to be a great writing. Just make sure to use spell check, and secondly you don’t have to pay for a press release to have it get you a ton of traffic.

Here is a short list of places that I use and recommend.

How To Save Money To Advertise

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

It’s no big secret why most people fail to make money online. They fail because they lack traffic. They either don’t know where to get the traffic from, or don’t have money to get the traffic or maybe even both.

I’d like to help you out and give you a few tips that will help you save a little money which you can then invest back into advertising your business.

  • Bring your lunch to work – This one sounds so easy I know! The truth though is most people who work, go out to lunch or find themselves putting quarters in the vending machines. When I worked at my office job the guys would always get together 3 – 4 times a week and go out to lunch.

Eating out will usually cost you $5 or more. If you pack a lunch you’ll save money which can be spent on advertising your online business. In my case I use to spend over $300 a month on going out to eat for lunch at work. I stopped and invested 50% of that into my business and the other 50% went to bills J

  • Car Pool – I know not everyone can do this, but if you can work a deal where you and a co-worker drive each other every other day you can save a ton of money on gas. I use to have an hour drive to and from work. I spent over $80 a week on gas! Then I started to car pool and that dropped down to just $35 a week I spent on gas.

  • Cut out your landline phone – Almost everyone today has a cell phone. Most of us use our cell phones more then we do our house phone even when we are home. Plus if you are like me the only people calling your house phone are people trying to sell you junk! Cutting out your house phone can you can save $35/m (that’s how much I saved).

  • Go to red box rather then the movies – Going to the movies will cost you about $20 for 2 people now. Then if you hit the food stand you’ll probably spend another $20. Stop doing that if you have a red box near you! You can rent DVD’s for just $1 at red box and they have the latest and hottest DVD’s. Don’t get me wrong it’s good to go out to the movies from time to time, but cut it out at least once a month and save some money.

  • Write down everything you spend/buy – If you write down how much you spend and what you spent it on you’ll start to see things you could cut back on or stop doing completely. Sometimes we don’t even know we are spending money until we write it down and see for ourselves!

  • Stop your gym membership – If you go to the gym great for you! However I know a lot of people who signup to the gym go for 3 – 6 months then stop.

However just because they stopped going doesn’t mean the payments stopped coming out of their bank account. I must admit I did this for almost a year. I kept telling myself next week I’ll start back up (never happened).

Ok so there you go. These are a just a few of the little things that I must self did to save money when I started my business. Some are easy to do while others are a little harder and require more work.

If you can cut back on just a few things each month you’ll be amazed by how much money you can save. Then with the extra money you’ll be able to buy advertising and give your business that big jump start it needs!
